Juanita Andersen is a Salvadoran-American actor based in Los Angeles. She is SAG-Eligible and an Equity Membership Candidate. 

Most recently Juanita starred as the romantic lead in the hit vertical series The Summer I Turned My Sexiest, which can be found on the Gammatime app. She also appears in the comedic webseries Clout Castle, as an aggressive and unhinged orc LARPER.

Juanita is a prolific commercial actor, and is always putting her Chicago iO improv training to great use in that space.

On stage, her Chicago credits include work with The Goodman Theatre, Victory Gardens, Teatro Vista, Griffin Theatre, Lifeline Theatre, Filament Theatre, Adventure Stage Chicago, and more. Regionally, she has worked with Williams Street Rep and Boise Contemporary Theater. Juanita can also be heard co-hosting Highlights Hangout, a podcast produced by Highlights for Children and Tinkercast. She is also a proud Emeritus company member with PlayMakers Laboratory. Juanita graduated with a BA degree in Theatre and Latinx Studies from Northwestern University.
